We accept all major insurance plans. Kaiser clients may choose out of pocket or gift certificate payment. All services listed are available in person at our lactation clinic, in your home, or via telehealth.

What is a lactation clinic?

Our clinic is designed to offer comprehensive breastfeeding education, support, and problem solving. We are here to help with breastfeeding complications and restore the intuitive bond between mother and baby after birth.

How do after hours visits wrok

Our phone lines are open 24/7. If you need urgent lactation support, call us at (916) 586‑8678 and we will arrange a same day in person or virtual consult.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes, telehealth visits are available for any initial or follow up consult or class. This is for clients out of the area or prefer remote support.

Do you accept insurance?

We will bill out of network for the following companies. Aetna, United, TriCare, Cigna, HealthNet, Western Health Advantage, Hills, Sutter, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Anthem. If your insurance is not covered here, please connect with me. While we work to get in network with these companies, we will collect a deposit with you at your first visit. Once your claim is processed and cleared, your deposit will be refunded back to you.

Almost all of our services are covered by insurance. Prenatal and postpartum doula appointments are covered, there is a cash fee for labor support. Our insurance experts will handle all insurance billing.

Do you accept Cash pay?

Yes, cash pay packages and hourly rates are available. Contact us to book a visit.
