Lactation Visit
New patient and follow up visits for restoring your feeding experience. Common feeding complications might include - infant weight gain, milk supply, breast and nipple pain, fussiness. We can also help minimize current interventions. Most issues resolve in just a couple of visits. We also help you plan for your long term goals including returning to work, and suggestions for your support person in how best to help you and your baby thrive. We can cover weaning, baby’s first foods, and infant sleep according to your needs or concerns.
If at anytime your needs are outside of our scope of practice, we will refer you to one of our trusted practitioners within our referral network.
Breastfeeding class
Learn how to start breastfeeding with confidence. Our class covers milk production, latch, feeding cues, and tips to help you and your baby thrive. Leave with customized resources and support according to your goals and medical history.
Infant care class
Well baby infant care class can be done before or after baby’s arrival. A hands on session covering the essentials - safe sleep, bathing and swaddling, feeding cues, diapering, and baby wearing. We’ll also review non toxic products, basic baby proofing, and tips for involving siblings if you have older children.
Birth and breastfeeding essentials class and planning
We offer a foundational series of classes for a delayed or minimal intervention birth and breastfeeding journey. This class will cover prenatal birth and breastfeeding education and support, latch fundamentals, supply, infant care, and more. Great for first time parents and also a great refresher for baby #2 and even mothers of multiples.
Postpartum doula services
Uniquely centered infant care and expert breastfeeding support, rather than general household help. Our postpartum doula provides hands on, compassionate breastfeeding support, in your earliest postpartum days helping you rest, recover, and bond with your baby. With our lactation first approach, you’ll feel empowered to recover confidently while nurturing a relaxed, effective feeding relationship.
